According to Montour School District policy and Pennsylvania State Law, volunteers over the age of 18 who will be in direct contact with minors must have current clearances on record with the district. For the MHS Musical, this includes all volunteers on the Costume, Hair & Makeup, Hospitality, Set Construction, Props, Production Party, and Hallway Decorations Committees. The required paperwork includes:
* Volunteer Application
* Volunteer Statement Affirming Understanding
* Act 34: Pennsylvania Criminal History Check
* Act151: Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Check
* Act 114: FBI Criminal History Report (or a signed affidavit if you haven’t lived outside of PA in the last 10 years)

Please note that clearances must be submitted to the district every year, so even if you submitted them in past years and they are still current, the paperwork must be resubmitted, including a new volunteer application.
Your paperwork can be given to Corissa Robb or Nicole Hinden or dropped off at Montour HR Department, 225 Clever Road, McKees Rocks, PA 15136. Clearances cannot be emailed and no electronic copies will be accepted.
